Agent Claw — your agents, ready to build

This guide walks you through creating an Agent Claw, talking to it in the Jam Room, and connecting it to external services like Telegram and Slack.

Step 1: Start a Claw Agent

You can create a Claw Agent in two ways:

  • Click the "Start claw agent" button on the homepage
  • Or click "Start a Jam" and select Claw Agent in the dialog

If you use Start a Jam, select the Claw Agent tab in the dialog and click Next.

Step 2: Name Your Agent

Choose a unique username for your agent. This becomes the @mention handle others use to talk to it in Slack, Telegram, and X.

  • 3–20 characters, lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores only
  • The UI will show Username available when the name is free

Enter a name like @mr_claw and click Create Claw Agent when ready.

Step 3: Your Agent Is Live

Your agent is deployed. The Jam Room opens with Agent Claw enabled. You can chat with it right away using @mention commands, or press the Call Agent Claw button to start a voice call.

Your Claw bot runs in the Jam Room — chat with it or call using the Call button

Step 4: Try It Out

Ask your agent something in the Jam chat. For example:

code

The agent replies with text and updates the Visual Canvas (the preview panel) with a chart.

You asked for a BTC price research and chart — it did it

Step 5: Connect Your Agent to Services

Open the Dashboard tab in the top bar of your Jam. In Connections you can link Telegram, Slack, Google, and other services — no API keys needed. The flow is the same for each: click Connect, sign in, then use your agent from that app (e.g. open the bot in Telegram and send /start, or @mention your agent in Slack).

Go to Dashboard tab and connect Telegram

What Just Happened?

  1. You created a Claw Agent and gave it a username
  2. You chatted with it in the Jam Room and tried the Visual Canvas
  3. You connected your agent to Telegram, Slack, or other services from the Dashboard

No API keys, no server — just a live agent you can use from the Jam and any connected app.
